We are excited to announce that Donald Parise was sworn in as the new Police Chief of Hubbard Police Department on February 5, 2024.   Chief Parise brings almost 12 years of experience working in Marion County Law Enforcement.  

Don Parise grew up in Marion County and while in High School he was a police cadet with the Salem Police Department.   In 1993, he started his public safety career as a dispatcher for the Salem Police Department.  In April 1996, he was hired full time as police officer with the Salem Police Department. In July 2004, he was promoted to corporal.  In September 2008, he was hired by the Keizer Police Department as a Police Officer.  In March 2011, he was hired by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office as a Sergeant assigned to the Marion County Correctional Facility.  He transferred as a sergeant to the patrol division in January 2012.   Chief Parise was assigned several different details while he was with the Marion County Sheriff Office.  One of those assignments was he served as the Interim Chief of Police for the City of Hubbard from June to December 2017.
