January 2010 - The City of Hubbard has received a $25,000 grant for improvements on 1st street between “D” and “G” Streets. This will add storm drainage, street widening, and a complete overlay. Please join me in another “Thank You” to our Public Works Department, Jamie and especially Melinda, their grant writer.

Crossing the Plains took eight months for the Hubbards, who left Pleasant Hill, Illinois, in April of 1847.
