According to Hubbard Municipal Code Chapter 5.01, "No person shall engage in any business within the city or transact any business specified in this chapter, without first obtaining registration and paying the fee prescribed." The current registration fee is $50 and must accompany the application. Business registration is to be renewed annually, prior to the new calendar year, and the annual registration fee is $50.00. Persons who sole business activity is making deliveries or taking orders from duly registered businesses within the city are exempt from registration, as well as those whose gross receipts from conducting business within and without the city in one calendar is less than $10,000.00. Businesses are subject to additional fees and fines if not in compliance of HMC Chapter 5.01.
