The Finance Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective financial system to accurately reflect the finances of the City and provide a framework for financial planning, reporting and analysis.  The primary goal is to provide accurate, reliable and timely financial information in accordance with budgetary controls and financial policies.

The general functions of the Finance Department include general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, cash management, debt service, budget and overseeing the annual audit.
