Water System Improvements Project - Phase 1A: A one-million dollar grant from Marion County was received for this project! This project continues to move forward behind the scenes, and will bring the long-awaited static water pressure upgrade to fruition, along with a complete replacement of a seriously antiquated SCADA system, plus various other components at the Water Treatment Plant.

Water System Improvements Project - Phase 1B: Public Works was awarded the $1,763,563 loan, $280,000 of which is forgivable. This project will be completed simultaneously to the above Phase 1A project.  Project components include water line replacements, the addition of a greensand filter unit to the existing filtration system, replacement and restructuring of the existing filtration facility's roof to protect the existing equipment and provide room for the new greensand filter unit, backup power generator replacement, and miscellaneous structural, piping and electrical improvements to accommodate and protect the Water Treatment Plant facility components.

"G" Street (between 2nd & 3rd Streets) Sidewalk Improvements Project: The agreement has been executed and Public Works is working on the construction proposals phase.
