Municipal Court

If you have received a traffic ticket and have questions, you will need to contact the court to which you were cited. The court name is located on the bottom of your citation, along with the appearance date and time.  More court contact information may be on the back of your citation.

Hubbard Municipal Court

At your initial appearance in Municipal Court, you will be required to enter a plea of Not Guilty or No Contest.

A plea of No Contest will result in a finding of guilt, and a fine will be imposed. If you choose to plead Not Guilty, your case will be scheduled for trial at a later date. Should you be found guilty at trial, a fine will also be imposed. Please note that there is no additional cost associated with proceeding to trial.

Traffic Safety Education Program

The Hubbard Municipal Court offers a traffic school diversion program.  If you are interested in traffic diversion, you must contact the court prior to your scheduled court date to determine your eligibility.

Compliance Program ("Fix-it" Tickets)

Certain violations are eligible to be "fixed" by the defendants. Defendants must provide proof of compliance and pay the "Fix-It" $50 administrative fee. The Violations Bureau Clerks will process a dismissal of the violation upon proof and compliance and payment of the fee in full.

Payment Options

If you are unable to pay your fine in full, you may set up a payment agreement.  There is a $10 monthly fee added to the payment agreement balance until the total is paid in full. The Court accepts payments of cash, check, money order as well as VISA, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER credit cards.

At the bottom of your ticket, your court date, time, and appearance location is written. You will need to contact the court where you are cited to appear with any questions. If you are cited to appear in the Hubbard Municipal Court, you will need to go to the City Hall at 3720 Second Street, Hubbard Oregon 97032 on the date and time indicated on your ticket.
