WATER - UTILITY DEPOSIT
A $90 Utility deposit is required from all new applicants
for water service. This deposit shall be refundable
in full at the end of one year if the applicant has
established good credit or upon termination of service
if no utility bill, either sewer or water, is then due
and owing.

Water services will be billed bi-monthly,
on the following dates, with full payment due 10 days
after the billing date. Accounts are considered delinquent
if payment is not received within 20 days of the billing
date and water service may be disconnected. A $50 reconnect
charge will be added to the account if payment is not
received before the shut-off date. All outstanding fees
and charges must be paid before water service can be
restored. (ORD 138-89)

As a condition to providing water
service to any property, the Hubbard Public Works staff
must have free access during working hours to the premises
to which water is delivered for the purpose of reading
water meters and inspecting water lines/fixtures. Also,
this includes utility easements. Before you install
a fence or landscaping, please contact the Hubbard Public
Works Department at (503) 982-9429 for additional information.
